Doni has over a decade of experience in business operations with a particular focus in human resources management, environmental health and safety, supply chain & logistics, and Kaizen/Continuous Improvement.

Prior to The Better Meat Co., Doni worked at Goodwill Industries of Sacramento Valley & Northern Nevada, Inc., where she served for nine years. Throughout her tenure, she successfully oversaw a multi-million dollar, multi-state retail operation with 250 employees.

Doni earned her MBA from California State University, during which time she also served as a career mentor for Women's Empowerment, an organization helping homeless women gain meaningful employment.

Doni currently serves as Director on the boards of Goodwill Industries of Sacramento Valley & Northern Nevada, Inc., and Next Move Homeless Services. These are two organizations that provide life-changing services and support to people experiencing challenges and disadvantages in the greater Sacramento community.
